Area Schools

When choosing a location, an important consideration is the quality of the area schools. This area is home to many fine parochial, private and public schools. Annapolis (21401, 21403, 21409)

Annapolis is approximately a 45 minute commute to Washington, D.C., and a 30 minute commute to Baltimore. Annapolis offers something for everyone.  Sailors and power boaters can enjoy the 400 mile shoreline along the Chesapeake Bay, its tributaries and sheltered inlets.  History buffs can explore the Historic District in Annapolis and visit the Paca House, the Governor's Mansion, the Naval Academy, and many other interesting historical sites. Annapolis is an amalgam of the cosmopolitan and quaint, the exciting and serene. The city hosts a wide variety of festivals, cultural and sporting events.  We have wonderful restaurants specializing in dishes specifically created with Maryland seafood.  Our area supports lifestyles from high tech employees to sail makers. Arnold (21012)

Routes 50 and 2 are easily accessible from Arnold, which is about 10 minutes East of Annapolis.  Arnold is loaded with amenities: community parks, convenient access to the Baltimore & Annapolis (B&A) Bike Trail, a large health club, multiple grocery stores,  and the Anne Arundel Community College.  There is a good variety of townhome and single family communities. Waterfront communities in Arnold are located on the Severn or Magothy Rivers. Prices range from $189,999 to $3,100,000.

Crownsville (21032)

Crownsville is slightly north of Annapolis and is conveniently located near downtown Annapolis, the Annapolis Mall, the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, the Eisenhower Golf Course,  Route 3, Route 50, and Interstate 97.   From small to large, Crownsville has a house for every taste and price range. Prices range from $199,500 to $2,450,000.

Davidsonville (21035)

Davidsonville is located 10 minutes west of Annapolis and 30 minutes east of Baltimore and Washington.  The rural atmosphere and scenic country not only provide an opportunity for steeple hunts in the spring, but homes with 1 to 2 acre lots-- a rarity for a location with so little commuting time to major metropolitan areas.  Homestead Gardens, one of the largest nurseries in Anne Arundel County, is conveniently located in Davidsonville.  Prices for homes in Davidsonville range from $391,700 to  $1,950,000.

Edgewater (21037)

Edgewater is south of Annapolis and is conveniently located near Parole, Routes 2, 50 and 97, the Annapolis Mall, and downtown Annapolis.  Many communities in Edgewater have water privileges.  Anne Arundel County has a great public beach and many parks open to county residents in Edgewater.  Prices for homes in Edgewater range from $138,900 to $9,500,000.

Riva (21140)

Riva has some nice water privileged communities featuring beach, community boat slips, club house and playgrounds. Prices range from $192,500 to $2,499,000.

Severna Park (21146)

Mostly single family homes, there is an eclectic mix of communities from the old to new, the expensive to the modest.  Severna Park is home to numerous waterfront/water access communities and  Routes 2, 3, and 100 are conveniently accessible.  Plenty of shopping centers and restaurants can be found here.  Also, a large portion of the Baltimore &Annapolis walking trail runs through Severna Park. Prices range from $235,000 to $12,900,000.
